With more than 25 years of experience in financial markets, I bring extensive expertise in economics, finance, and retirement planning. My academic background is based on a degree in Economics from the University of Hanover, complemented by rigorous certifications as a Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA®), International European Financial Analyst (CEFA®), and an ETF Professional certification from the German Association for Financial Analysis and Asset Management (DVFA).
In my professional career as a Senior Economist at the Handelsblatt Research Institute (HRI), I focus on analyzing the economy and financial markets as well as the development of pension provision and retirement planning. The economic forecasts I lead at HRI have received multiple awards for their accuracy and reliability.
More than a decade, I had the privilege of working closely with Professor Dr. Dr. h. c. Bert Rürup, one of Germany’s most distinguished economists and former chairman of the German Council of Economic Experts (“Wirtschaftsweise”).
As a working-level member of the "Future Dialogue on Pension Provision" commission of the Federal Government at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, I was actively involved in designing sustainable concepts for old-age provision in Germany.
With my expertise, I support companies, institutions, and private individuals in optimally positioning themselves in the complex environment of economic cycles and capital market developments. My goal is to make economic relationships understandable and develop sound, future-oriented strategies.
